When two houses of high style repute merge their grimoires, something neither could conjure alone is born. MM6 Maison Margiela took the sacred XT chassis and performed a deliberate act of beautiful sabotage upon it. The overlays are repositioned. The proportions hold a quiet wrongness that becomes right. Road Contagrip swapped in for the urban pilgrimage. Sunny Lime over Black over Green Milieu is the colorway speaks of decisions made before the room finished forming an opinion. The quietest oracle in the collection. Nubuck leather paired with two-tone mesh, and embroidery that appears to have wandered in from a separate, more delicate ceremony entirely. Delicioso sounds like the invention of a misguided naming committee, but the color itself is nice: a deep brownish-red with warm undertones that works in all light spectrums and style situations. Against Tea Plantation, which is kinda mossy after rain lookin', the palette is giving "somewhere you would want to be standing, outside, in autumn". The GTX waterproofing blesses it with practicality. The colorway gives it something more. A reason.
