2026 is absolutely bombing by, and while ya'll have been paying attention to important things, I've continued to sample some dope stuff that you probably don't need, but sure as heck are going to want once I reveal the secret sauce.
We are here not only to be our best selves, but to express and enjoy ourselves. These items have helped me remember that over the past few months, and are some of the highlights of the things I've sampled lately.
This Chore Jacket by Mad Trapper

What a dope chore coat from the upstart brand Mad Trapper! I scored one of these in February, and it's been my spring go-to for a few months. It's unlined and medium-weight, a great feel for pulling over a hoodie or wearing by itself.
This versatile comes pre-washed, and it's just perfect right out of the box. You'll be forgiven for thinking that this coast is a worn 90's-era vintage find— it's actually brand new, and cut from heavyweight 14.75 oz Mount Vernon Mills broken-twill denim. And made right here, stateside.
Mad Trapper did a fantastic job getting the pocket placement right and adding their own unique styling to the genre, without going overboard trying to make it too different. It's hard to enter the barn coat game with something fresh that can also become an everyday-wear item, and these guys nailed it— even sticking the landing on the corduroy collar.
Pick up a Mad Trapper camo hats and one of their accessibly-priced organic cotton t-shirts (I got one in green), and this jacket in the washed or unwashed look, and I guarantee you, you'll be pulling a vibe that is both timeless and fully on-trend for 2026. From the coast of Maine to the hills of Ojai, this coat is a legit style slayer.

These Reproduction Fatigue Pants by IndigoSea

Was looking for a pair of vintage army pants, but guess what, I found some new ones that are even better. I've been wearing these gems from Indigosea for a month and I'm still absolutely stunned by the value for the price.
3 things about vintage army pants:
- They are hard to find
- They are harder to find in good condition
- If you do find them, they cost an arm and a leg.
Let's just get straight to the point: old school fatigue pants are hotter than a Texas bbq with no shade in church clothes right now, and if you can land yourself some good ones, you'll be dramatically ahead of the power/style curve. PLEASE get yourself a pair of these and wear them all summer!
This specific reproduction by Indigosea NAILED the color and fabric, with a garment-washed cotton sateen that's so darn nice to the touch. It's got that slubby feel that faithfully recreates the unique texture you'll find on the actual fatigues worn by U.S. soldier in Korea and Vietnam. Many brands have tried (and failed) to get this style right, but these promise durability and a material that, for me, has already softened dramatically since first wear.
Hoping to feature more this brand more in the future because I'm still trying to process how dope this stuff is at such an approachable price point, so stay tuned.

These Luxury Air Fresheners by Olatu

Air fresheners are ridiculous. Unless, of course, they look like little pieces of modern art. And that's exactly the vibe these sick little fresheners from from Olautu are giving off.
I've been rolling on dubs with my Olautu for 3 months, and this badboy still smells and looks fresh. I'm stoked on these both for functionality and for flair.
Wait, you are saying, do I really need a $33 air freshener for my dope whip? Um, trust me, you do, and this these things are a subtle flex for each and every time you drive, which, let's face it, is quite a big. You can also hang them around the house.

This T-Shirt By Bleu De Chauffe

Holy s#%t! What an incredible t-shirt! Instantly cracks my top 5, this is a MUST HAVE! I have tried a lot of t's, but this is one of my all-time favorites, no doubt. The material on this t is just exquisite. The fit is so on point for a t shirt to wear all year round.
Made of super special organic cotton, this thing is called the Heavyweight Champion, and it deserves the name, but don't get it twisted, this is not a "heavy" shirt, it's just perfectly substantial.
It's made in France!
I'm not going to go even crazier trying to sell you on this shirt right now, but visit this link to read all about it, and trust me, you will not be disappointed by spending 60 bucks for a shirt that is worth at least double that.

Have a great time!
