BET ON THE HORSES is an LA-based brand designed by Collin McMannis. I recently got an early glimpse at the fall line, and I'm reporting back from the sun-soaked trenches of SoCal to implore you to snatch of some of their pieces while the getting is good. Gear drops on Oct. 7th and is sure to sell out quick.
Collin McMannis entered the fashion world in 2012, earning his stripes and honing his craft with his initial brand LLovesick. LLovesick was a hit, but McMannis has moved on to even steezier pastures, and he's rolling out the purest form of his vision with BOTH, which fuses timely streetwear silhouettes and vintage washes with lightweight ultra-comfy fabric to offer new pieces that feel perfectly worn, right out the box.
"You are the horse, Your life is the race, Bet on yourself." -Colin McMannis
The brand's branding, appropriately, channels the literal majesty of horses to imply the indepedent spirit of the wild west while imploring us to take chances– and to do it in style.
If you are looking for the faded-and-worn, vintage-esque aesthetic, BOTH has nailed it for you.
You all already know that I would much rather pay for something that's been lovingly manipulated and washed to perfection, so BOTH is right up my alley. Here are some of my favs!
Caps

BOTH's ranch cap is already a hit, pre-distressed and formed for the edgy look that caps try so hard to pull off but struggle to nail. This season McMannis also introduces two styles of trucker cap with puff-print logos featuring "Berry Hills" and "Bet On The Horses" branding. Personally, I'm betting on the new Ranch Cap in the moss colorway. 🤤

T-Shirts
These are the type of t-shirts you would wrestle your homie for, the winner displaying his prize on his back. Exquisitely distressed, light and soft, and perfect for a casual day. I'm super impressed with how these fit and feel. Highly recommended. Also check out the long sleeve waffle thermal for that chill oversize look.

Sweatshirts

BOTH's hoodies are washed-out and distressed (getting the picture?) and really have you feeling like you've stumbled upon dope vintage pieces. Just as importantly, the color choices are on point; a sun-faded red for the hoodie and a vintage grey for the crewneck. These are really nice sweatshirts! Lightweight but still substantial since they are french terry. Clutch for layering or for a easy steezy solution to warmer climes. Note: these are a contemporary oversized fit with a cropped look, so I would go up one size from your usual.
